Sažetak
We report on thermopower and resistivity data measured on an YbAl<sub>3</sub> single crystal from 2 K up to 320 K. The thermopower clearly reveals signatures of coherence in YbAl<sub>3</sub> up to T<i><sub>coh</sub></i>=35 K. We extracted the characteristic temperatures from our thermopower data, discuss and compare them with the ones extracted from the other experiments. To explain some unusual features of the temperature dependence of the thermopower, we relate the thermopower data with other physical quantities measured on the same single crystals of YbAl<sub>3</sub>. In addition, we compare our thermopower measurements to the thermopower data found in literature.
