Sažetak
Graphic design is mostly focused on two dimensional forms, but in package design the final product is a three dimensional object. That makes it harder for the designer to visualize the final product in early, design stages. The use of software that can visualize the 3D object before production makes designer's work easier and cost production lower. It also shortens the time it takes for a product to reach the final, production stage from the design phase. Other applications of 3D graphics can be found in marketing. Products can be in promotional phase even before reaching the production stage. Beside the applications in package design and marketing stated before, 3D graphics is irreplaceable tool in graphic design. It allows a simulation of finished real objects (products) in a virtual environment before its creation.
