Sažetak
This paper presents a novel model order reduction (MOR) technique for a mechanical system modelled by linear time-invarijant second order system. Projection matrices for MOR are derived for an altered system and applied in MOR of the original system. This additional freedom is exploited to obtain optimal approximation of the original system. The efficiency of the proposed technique is demonstrated on a numerical example.
