Sažetak
Possible threat from avian influenza to humans and animals was presented, especially to poultry as important carriers to humans. Present methods of poultry protection and vaccination are observed using inactivated vaccines. New model of massive vaccination against AI developed in Croatia was presented using recombinant vaccine delivered already in hatchery to newly-hatched poultry.
