Sažetak
Research contribution discussed the problem of defoults on the castings after die casting and trimming of aluminium and magnesium alloys. There will be the introduction of some problems, which occurs during die casting of magnesium and aluminium alloys. With the introduction of problems, some potentional reason and possibilities of solving these problems ; and also the mistakes, which caused them, will be desired. There are differencies between die casting of aluminium and die casting of magnesium. Real tests and mass production of parts are a base for good results. The test shows, how unexplored features of the machine and also the change of powering help for better, more sable and more quality product. The process optimisation is described accurately and after that, some following solutions are presented
