Sažetak
Bioaerosols are defined as a collection of aerosolized biological particles which can vary greatly in size, ranging from less than 20 nm to 100 microns in diameter.The composition, size and concentration of the microbial populations comprising the bioaerosol vary with the source, dispersal mechanism in the air, and, most importantly the environmental conditions prevaling at a particular site. Animal farms, farming of land, application of manure, wastwater/sewage treatment and composting belong among significant sources of bioaerosols. The aim of the present study was to investigate survival of selected groups of bacteria in animal houses with diferent animal species and two diferent methods.
