Sažetak
We examined 50 diabetic patients. Half of them had no urinary roblem while the other half suffered from incontinence. Detection EMG was performed by the use of a needle electrode which was placed directly in the anal and external urethral sphincter. Neurography of pudendal nerve was carried out by applying Chantraines method but it was modified. in the patients with diabetic polyneuropathy action potentials had higher amplitude and lasted longer. Pudendal conduction velocity was reduced than in the normal or in the diabetic withouth urinary problem and withouth neuropathy.
