Sažetak
The purpose of the present study is to show the success following the external fixator primary treatment of the upper and lower leg war fractures. The follow-uo examinations in 100 randomised wounded persons were performed at end of 2001. They were all treated in the 1991 - 1995 period, for heavy war- related bone fracturs to the lower limbs. The external fixator is a successful and irreplaceable method of treatment for war-related injuries to the long bones of the lower limb.
