Sažetak
High performance size-exclusion chromatography is a modern separation chromatographic technique which provides a separation of macromolecular species from the macromolecular mixtures according to their size in solution, and belongs to the most frequent techniques used in molecular mass distribution determination. If some additional interactions are included in separation (adsorption, partition, ion-inclusion, ion-exclusion, association etc. ), there is not simple relationship between elution volume and molecular mass and molecular mass distribution determination is rather complicated. These undesired interaction could be suppressed or eliminated by selection of mobile phase, stationary phase, by mobile phases mixtures or by addition of strong electrolyte to mobile phase. In the present paper a results of molecular mass distribution of polyimide, polyethersulfone, halostyrene copolymers, styrene maleic anhydride copolymers and partially sulfonated styrene maleic acid copolymers have shown. The determination was performed on organic and inorganic separating gel and dimethylformamide, tetrahydrofurane, dimethylacetamide, methylene chloride and dimethylformamide enriched with LiBr s a mobile phase.
