Sažetak
The conventional approach towards the interrelations between transportation systems and development is being analysed in the paper. The emphasis is put on the economy of interaction which is under the influence of globalisation, logistics revolution and information-communication technologies (ICT). Such an approach determines the guidelines for the economy of development and transportation policy, which must be based on the complex methods and models of analysis as well as on the projection of integral and structural development of transportation and communications.
