Sažetak
In this 2006 we celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the birth of the academician Josipa Roglića (born in Župa Biokovska, 14 March 1906 - died in Zagreb, 22 October 1987). Although he was a geographer his papers on transport system have a prominent position in his rich and multidisciplinary scientific heritage. His contribution to the transport valorisation of Croatia and to the transport integration of the continental and littoral Croatia, as well as his visions, is particularly remarkable. Which of his visions came through and what are the basic obstacles present currently in Croatian transport system? Some thoughts and results will form the content of the paper.
