Sažetak
The selectivity of detection of hydrazines by the method „ spot test reaction“ by selenious acid and 1– naphtylamine is tested with 113 organic substances from 16 classes of functional groups. The values of selectivity were calculated by the information content, showing that the test selectivity of the Dowex HCR (H) resin is very high, and that the substances such as alkyl hydrazines, phenols, sulphonic acids, aldehydes, amino acids, esters, alcohol and amides do not participate in the process of formation of the specific analytical signal. The examined test is suitable for discriminating alkyl– and aryl– hydrazides, and can also be used for the identification of hydrazines in the presence of hydrazides.
