Sažetak
In the paper the harmonic balance method (HBM) is used for calculation of the unsynchronous response of the Jeffcott rotor. The nonlinear equation of motion for the small inclination oscillations consist of the nonlinear spring characteristics modeled with the approximation till the third-power terms of physical coordinates. As the examples the subharmonic resonances of order 1/2 and 1/3 for forward and backward whirl of the rotor are considered. The results of calculation, presented as diagrams of amplitude of rotor subharmonic vibrations and diagrams of time variation of physical coordinates and orbits of physical coordinates, are discussed.
