Sažetak
Taking into account various legal traditions, ''cultures'' could be connected with different religious teachings and the philosophies based on them in particular societies. Depending on adopted critera authors can provide differing classifications of the main civilizations in the present world community. The subject-matter, in a broad sense, of the present explanation is the meaning and scope of percepts of natural law and their relationship with the rules of positive international law in the present multicultural community of states with their own values. According to the author's opinion, there are many misunderstandings in this respect which seek to be clarified. So he separately analysed: human rights and multiculturalism ; and fundamental natural rights and duties of ethnic groups within a state. Some of these rights and duties are explained in the order of their importance: right to existence, right to equality, right to proportionate sharing in the decision-making, right to free use of natural language, and right to institutions.
