Sažetak
Whereas the internationalization as a process occurs earlier, a modern process of globalization began in 1980ties. The development during that period manifested through two simultaneous preoccupations: how to define a global strategy of multinational companies and how to organize the international exchange - regionalism or multilateralism. The paper brings an analysis of the process of globalization and its width. Thereafter is given the trade and financial globalization as well as the globalization of monetary and trading system. The author examines the impact of globalization on the unemployment in the end, the effect which globalization has on development is being analyzed. The aim of the paper is to picture the impact of globalization on Europe and the Republic of Croatia as its part.
