Sažetak
The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of the CELL-DYN 3500 for dog blood analysis in a routine work. The red blood cells (RBC), haemoglobin (Hb), haematocrit (HCT), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (MCHC), platelet count (PLT), mean platelet volume (MPV), white blood cells (WBC) and the WBC differential were determined and compared to the laboratory's current instrument Serono Baker 9120 and manual differential cell counting. Good correlations (r>0.80) were achieved between the two test systems for all values except MCHC, MPV, eosinophils and basophils. During the evaluation period, CD 3500 was easy to handle and appeared well suited for most routine canine blood cell analysis.
