Sažetak
Greater mutual dependence of world's and European marketplace as well as increase of international trade as one of the basic goals of European Union's traffic policy emphasizes inner traffic connection as well as traffic connection between other European countries with modern transport network. With this context, significant European interest has been shown within European traffic policy for traffic position Republic of Croatia holds, as well as its transport corridors that by passing the Croatian territory integrate Croatia with European traffic and economic system. According to the fore mentioned, this paper analyses European traffic policy and aspects of European interest shown for traffic position of Republic of Croatia, geo-traffic aspects of Paneuropean transport corridors network as well as exploitation possibilities of current and potentially new corridors that pass though Croatian territory. According to that, significant conclusions are being derived regarding the level of Croatia's integration in Paneuropean corridor network, including the existent corridors as well as potentially new ones that would also significantly contribute to better integration of Croatian transport network in European corridor network.
