Sažetak
When purchasing new hydro generators or refurbishing old ones the technical description of the insulating system that will be used in the facility concerned in accordance with customer requests, as well as the description of insulating system properties represent obligatory parts of the requirements specified in the tender. To help the potential customer in defining technical requirements for a tender for insulating systems of hydro generator windings, in addition to general introductory remarks on the system and its properties, thermal class and the like, this paper also provides a diagram with sectional view of the winding in a slot. Materials used in insulating systems are also specified in such a manner that their general composition and the condition in which they are used in the insulating systems supplement the picture of the technological process of the production of hydro generator windings. The required properties of insulating systems are arranged in the tabular form on the basis of the most recent findings applied in the world
