Sažetak
Drinking water is the foodstuff for which there is no substitute. Its quality must be such that its consumption or use does not endanger health. Disinfection with multicomponent oxidising agent, with stabilised hydrogen peroxide basis and monovalent silver ions was investigated. Laboratory found optimal concentration of disinfectant, for well groundwater 50 ppm and cistern rain water 40 ppm, pointed that one hour of exposure resulted in elimination of discoloration, reduced the concentration of organic matter pollutants and inactivated aerobic and coliform bacteria below the guideline values. The residual concentration of 10 ppm H2O2, was found acceptable.
