Sažetak
I try to stress the importance of symptom-to-balloon time on mortality of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and how to better approach this data for general public. I think that detailed explanation of interhospital transfer from hospitals included in the National Registry of Myocardial Infarction 2/3/4 databases, which was only shortly mentioned in article, will have significant influence on public health authorities in other countries which started to design the protocols for transfer of STEMI patients.
