Sažetak
The properties of many polymer blends derive from the fine-scale structural arrangements or blend morphologies, obtained during processing in addition to the proportion of each polymer type present. In order to obtain good mechanical performances adding a third product such as compatibilizers or other additives as filler are often used. In the present wprk, properties of the PE/PP composite with respect to the added Al(OH)3 filler was carried out. Characterization of the prepared samples was carried out by determination of mechanical properties, by X-ray difraction analysis (XRD) and by examination of scanning electronic microscopy (SEM). The additon of the filler brought up an increase in the elasticity especially for the samples prepared with two-stage extrusion process.
