Sažetak
Safety, by definition, necessitates that all action be performed to protect people and values from all risks and hazarda. In the hospital environment there are many risk sources among which the electrical current is one of the most dangerous. Electrical safety has special relevance when dealing with anesthetized and unconscious patients, who are not able to react to dangerous situations and to protect themselves. The responsibility for providing safetytherefore falls to the person (operators) dealing with electromedical devices in an environment that can be damaged by different influences of the electrical current.
