Sažetak
The basis has been given for the application of CAD and CAM in the process of the design and production of the concave and convex milling cutters. By applying the numerically controlled machine tools the necessity of milling cutters producing by special machine tools for reliving is avoided. By means of mathematical modelling of the form and edge geometry of cutters - backed off one can derive basis for optimization parameters of form and dimension influencing to the tools cutting characteristics, as well as the durability or the tools service-life and the quality of the of those tools.
