Sažetak
Supermolecular structure and mechanical properties of the silica-reinforced polypropylene compression molded composites were investigated by light and scanning electron microscopy, as well as by tensile and impact strength measurements. The structure-properties relationship of composites, crucial for tailoring of end-use composite properties, were studied in dependence on iPP/silica volume content ratios, different silica grades, particle size (nanosilica vs. microsilica) and surface treatment (hydrophilic vs. hydrophobic silica).
