Sažetak
Testing of network applications is a very time consuming process. Existing frameworks used for testing tend to be very powerful but are complex to deploy. LUSCA was created in an attempt to simplify and automate the process of examining the behavior of network applications by primarily tackling remote computer control, test set up and execution. LUSCA also provides a convenient way to gather test results and store them for further analysis and documentation purposes. Test parameters are defined using a straightforward XML based language, created for this specific purpose. This language identifies ; test objects, subjects and logic controlling the test flow in a simple way. In the following paper LUSCA is introduced as a test framework designed for network applications ; the idea behind it, its architecture elements and implementation approach.
