Sažetak
There are two aspects to the way we regulate veterinary medicinal products: regular control of veterinary drugs, and testing of veterinary drugs in order to authorise (register) these drugs for use in Croatia. The Croatian Veterinary institute is authorised to perform laboratory and clinical testing of candidate veterinary drugs for their registrations in Croatia. Drugs are tested to ensure the quality of those intended for veterinary practice, to the benefit of animal health and interest of their owners. In addition, quality is tested for the purpose of registration in Croatia. analytical procedures are those recomended by the manuacturer. We check that they are in accordance with the specifications of Ph.Eur., and recommendations of the Commite for Veterinary Drugs of the European Union.
