Sažetak
A short review is presented of problems in the treatment of intensive rains with the objective of defining a family of intensity-duration-frequency curves. High variability and significant changes in characteristics of intensive rain in space and time are discussed. This fact, particularly the direction of storm movement, significantly affects the formation of runoff processes, i. e. outflow hydrograph. A method is described for the reduction of rainfall from a point to a surface suitable for regions where there are only few pluviographs for recording intensive rains. The genetic method is suggested for computing the runoff process, based on the definition of isochrones applied to dynamic programming.
