Sažetak
The objective of this paper is to summarize and discuss the key parameters for design of PEM fuel cell stacks. These include selection of operating point, active area and number of cells in the stack, as well as selection of operating conditions such as flow rates, pressure, temperature and humidity of reactant gases. Several stack design features, such as stack flow distribution, cell flow field, cooling arrangements, resistive losses and leaks are discussed as well.
