Sažetak
The paper presents the results of the investigations about the influence of various kinds of inorganic filles based on calcium carbonate and alumosilicate as well as of the reference starch filler on adhesive properties of poly(vinyl acetate) composition.The filler were characteraized by Chemical composition, particle size distribution, surface area and crystalline structure. The rheological behaviour of poly(vinyl acetate)adhesive compositions were studied and the conclusions were drawn concerning the specific role of the structural and morfological parameters of the fillers. The mechanical properties of the prepared films of poly(vinyl acetate) adhesives containing the defined amounts of selected fillers on the strenght characteristics of the wood adhesive joint were also studied. The results definitely established that fillers particle size distribution along with their other characteristics may exert considerable influence o the adhesive properties of the poly(vinyl acetate) compositions
