Sažetak
Superfinishing operation allows you to control friction and wear at contact surfaces on finished parts. This is the result from improvements in coefficient of friction, wear resistance, lubrication and anti-corrosion properties. It is the most appropriate process of surface finishing operation for any machine part workpiece made of any material including new advanced materials, which require high perfomance and long service life and is performed by an abrasive stone that oscillates while contacting a rotating workpiece. Fundamentals of the process are given in this paper.
