Sažetak
This article covers two possible electronic solutions for ultrasonic liquid presence detectors.
The first one is a standard transmitter-receiver system, and the second one is based on an oscillating system incorporating an acoustical transmitter-receiver sensor.
Special attention is paid to the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of both designs with respect to the sensor acoustical and electrical characteristics.
The optimisation is aimed at achieving a high signal-to-noise ratio and a high reliability of operation in various types of liquids.
