Sažetak
It was a quantitative and qualitative analyses of several aspects of Croatian emigration to European and overseas countries from the middle of the 19th century to the recent times. Specific varieties of emigration in relation to destination (to Europe, overseas) and period (before the WWI, between the two WW, during the WWII, from 1960s to 1980s, during post socialist period) were revealed. Author was focused on panoply of social, economic, political, geographical, educational, technological and other dimensions of emigration from Croatian lands and its consequences on sending and receiving societies.
