Sažetak
Lactobacillus acidophilus M92, lactobacillus plantarum L4 and Enterococcus faecium L3 were previously selected as probiotic strains on the base of in vitro selection criteria. To investigate functional properties of these three probiotic strains in vivo, Swiss albino mice were used as animal model. Survival, competition, adhesion and colonization were monitored in the gastrointestinal tract, as well as the immunomodulating capability of L. acidophilus M92, L. plantarum L4 and E. faecium L3.
