Sažetak
Seaport represents an important interface of the traffic system since they connect the sea (in a wider since water) and land traffic. The development of the seaports in the Republic of Croatia is of vital importance in the development of her economics system. It is, therefore, necessary in the strategic development of the Croatian port system to bear in mind the European standards regarding environmental protection since their implementation is the condition for the integration of the Croatian port system and the European port system.
