Sažetak
In Croatian hotels and restaurants have been invested about 3% - 5% of total investments. The highest investments in hospitality industry in analysed period were in 1998 and the lowest in 2000. That means that the withdrawal of capital investments has happened and that the investments were redirected in other sectors. If we analysed the source of investments we can see that in 1980 about 95% of investment source was insured with financial credits, and in 2000 that ratio was 55% in favour of financial credits. Because the type of investment source and because the changes in capital price, the analyses of aggregate financial statements shows bad results in tourism activities. Very expensive credits diminish the business results and the total result became negative
