Sažetak
Te article reveals a stome fragment from Bjelovar with the image of elephant figure, an interesting iconographic representation rare in this area. It is probably a part of Romanesque frieze which decorated a church fron or a door lintel as it is usually found in the French or Spanih examples. The article defines and describes primarily iconographic features and allegoric and symbolic meaning attached to the image of elephant.
