Sažetak
The rehabilitation methods as well as achievements, preparations and forms of educational integration of school age children with cochlear implant are considered. Especially it is considered the forms of special support of children with cochlear implant starting from the elementary school and up to the vocational training and switch from special to integrated educational conditions. High emphasis is placed on preparation of regular school to admit children with cochlear implant as well as on form of professional collaboration and monitoring of such children. Supportive-educational work with parents and relatives of children with cochlear implant is a presupposition of a successful rehabilitation and integration as well as the recommendations to parents/relatives according to Verbotonal model. The direct forms of social-pedagogical supoort of teenagers with cochlear implant are presented in description of work of Youth Club at the Polyclinic SUVAG. The viewpoints of rehabilitator, educator, psychologist, pedagogue and psychiatrist are provided.
