Sažetak
Field experiments with soil tillage treatments for winter wheat (A1= ploughing; A2= discing; A3= tillage by multitiller; A4= tillage by rototiller + sowing by Rotosem; A5= ploughing, sowing by Rotosem) during of 1992/93-1995/96 years, carried out on humogley in Eastern Croatia, showed the following: A pluogh use is not always necessary and justifiable. A disc harrow can be used for the same purpose and it is cheaper by 146 and a Rotosem use is cheaper by 182 DEM/ha. Their rentability treshold is 5.16 i.e. 5.04 t/ha and profitability is 12.2 and 11.3%. These variants did not have loss in production during of four year period. Due to lower investment between 14.6 and 31.9% at equipment acquisition for reduced tillage they will play a significant role in Croatian Podunavlje renovation. Reduced tillage application will gice considerable better effect on that area due to more quality and lighter soils.
