Sažetak
After gaining its independence, Croatia has to face the problem of defining the range and characteristics of domestic tourist turnover, which until 1991 comprised of tourism turnover of all the Republics of the former Yugoslavia. The aim of this paper is to determine that so far registered tourist turnover of the segment relating to its domicile population and to emphasise the significance of Croatia as the receptive Republic within the former state. The new fluctuation will show that the rank and significance of the domestic tourist fluctuation play an important role in the recent total tourist turnover of the country and in the changed place of a domestic guest in the market which is influenced by changes in economy due to war in the wider surrounding area of Croatia.
