Sažetak
Relief shading gives to a map not only aesthetic dimension, but it can also be used as information supplement in the map. An overview of existing shades of the mountain Medvednica near Zagreb, Croatia is given. Possibilities in modifying analytical shades and results in aesthetic dimension and perception of the relief are explored.
