Sažetak
Plasma and erythrocyte magnesium(Mg) and phosphorus(Pi) were determined in twelve Simmental bulls in the course of growth.Average live weight at the start of fattening was 174 kg and at the slaughter 620 kg.During the trial heparinized blood was collected five times.Erythrocyte Mg and Pi were determined indirectly in hemolysed blood. The most dramatic changes of Mg and Pi concentrations during growth were in erythrocytes.Increased energy demand in form of the ATP for maitenance of shape and deformability or for phosphorilation (Pi) - then regulation of enzyme activities and stabilizing of membrane structures (Mg), could be the possible reasons. Plasma Mg and Pi concentration changes during growth were more stable.
