Sažetak
The work presents a two year investigation on characteristics of two line sorts (Navajo and Bristol) and three hybrid sorts (Artus, Baldur and Titan) of rape seeds. The first year of investigation was very droughty, and the second year was very wet. With the seed crops at the same agro-technique, the investigation encircled drying curves of every single cultivar, as well as the water, oil and free fatty acids content. A great difference in the oil share was observed, in the first year it ranged from 36.15% to 45.33% whereas in the second year it ranged from 38.87% to 41.52%. The free fatty acid content ranged from 1.18% to 2.38% in the first year and from 0.61% to 1.65% in the second year. The crops varied from 2.143 kg/ha to 3.283, 2 kg/ha in the first, droughty year and from 4.542 kg/ha to 4.937 kg/ha in the second year, recalculated at dry matter.
