Sažetak
The final goal of this project is to synthesize a "catalogue" of chiral bidentate ligands (A-D, X=OOOh_2 or PPh_2) which are characteristic for their structural simplicity and available from the four most widespread monosaccharides. This communication describes the preparation of diphenylphosphinites (A-D ; X=OPPh_2) starting from D-glucose, D-galaktose, D-xylose and L-arabinose and their isolaton as Cu(I) salts.
