Sažetak
The roles and responsibilities of business, society and governments have changed dramatically over the last ten years. Globalisation process has caused the transition from environment where the state had sole responsibility for the public good and business maximised profits independent of the interest of society at large, to environment where success depends on the close synergy of interests among public and private sector and society. Tourism hasn't stayed immune to changes, which have spanned to all economy sectors, and therefore public and private partnership is becoming one of the main requirements for tourism development. World experience of partnership in tourism, within changes of roles, activities, structure, goals, can be significant experience for Croatia.
