Sažetak
Industrial praxis is characterized by the incessant need for up-grading of existing and discovery of new materials and alloys. This particulary refers to transport means, respectively air-traffic where this issue reaches its full importance. To produce the alternative material with approximately 10% less density (kg/m3) and obtain similar cost-savings with the fabrication of airplanes is a matter of prominence as to its cost-effectiveness. Thus the aim of this study is checking of substitution opportunities of existing alloys from Series 2xxx and 7xxx with new Li-based Al-alloys which could succesfully be processed on the existing conventional facilities. The alloy cold-rolling process of AlLiCuMgZr is performed under industrial conditions, while the heat treatment and material checking procedure in the laboratory ones. Not encroaching into scrutinized theoretical considerations, the primary aim was to get to know the relevant parameters of special interest for production praxis; in temper 0-softening curve, in temper T4-technological parameters (determination of minimum bending radius).
