Sažetak
Administration (i.v.) of peptidoglycan monomer to mice resulted in a decrease of cytochrome P-450 content and 7-ethoxycoumarin-O-deethylase activity. The effect was time dependent and was most marked 24 and 48 hrs after injection of peptidoglycan monomer, with doses ranging from 0.5 to 4.0 mg per mouse. A similar effect was induced by the peptide moiety of the peptidoglycan monomer, but not with the disaccharide.
