Sažetak
This article describes the first appearance of skinheads in Croatia. The first groups of skinheads were not "nazi-skins" but the croatian version of non-political skinheads, sometimes similar to SHARP (SkinHeads Against Racial Prejudice) skinheads popular in western Europe. While football plays a certain role in any variation of skinhead styles, music and fanzine-net were crucial in shaping the first Croatian groups of skinheads. During the first phase of development in Croatia, skinheads rejected political leaders which were counting on them. That was possible because most of the "first generation" skinheads were involved in Oi punk and hard-core musical circles, providing a distance (which disappeared later) from racist and other extreme political groups.
