Sažetak
This study deals with chloride ion penetration into the concrete of the bridge over the Rijeka Dubrovačka, i.e. the Dubrovnik Bridge. Properties of concrete tested in the scope of this study are: total and water soluble chloride ion content and pH factor through concrete depth. Places of taking samples were dispersed all over the bridge structure. With such arrangement, different levels of exposure to chloride aggression were covered. Exposure level depends of height of tested position above average sea level, as well as of its orientation regarding dominant winds and sun. In this study, relationship between exposure levels of tested places and obtained tests results was considered, which led us to conclusions about durability characteristics of reinforced concrete bridge structure corresponding to steel corrosion.
