Sažetak
The paper presents evaluation model in the design process by an approach for establishing effective mapping and transformation process between product properties and domain requirements from different scientific fields. Evaluation model of product properties as such as requirements was showed in the general evaluation process in the conceptual phase. Mathematical terminology and mathematical tools were used for presentation of evaluation model. The suggested meta-level consists of general discrete mathematical models, called combinatorial representations. Specific mathematical basis for the evaluation model and combinatorial analysis for every variant solution are possible with graph theory. All variant solutions must be evaluated according to the range of meeting the set criterions as requirements. Using the unification and formalism of the conceptual model and evaluation model, we create an assumption for objective defining of weight matrix in order to avoid arbitrariness and selection of final variant solution.
