Sažetak
In our recent analysis of the immune competence of kidney graft recipients with transplants functioning over a period of five or more years, interesting details have appeared. Out of 27 DR typed recipients we selected 14 whose donors differed in one DR antigen. The results suggest that in some renal allograft recipients, after a period of five or more years, immune tolerance towards donor-specific allo-antigens is spontaneously developed. Ath the same time non- specific immune competence of these patients was not significantly different to thet of age matched controls.
